Baquba – The death toll of the Umraniyah attack northeast of Baquba rose to nine martyrs and 12 injured.

A security source told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency that the death toll from the Al-Umraniya explosion on the outskirts of Al-Wajhiya district, which targeted civilians returning from an electoral conference, rose to 21 martyrs and wounded, pointing out that most of the victims are relatives of MP Salah Zeini.

For its part, the Diyala Police Command announced a state of alert and security alert in the Muqdadiya district in anticipation of any emergency.
