Baghdad: The Popular Mobilization Forces mourned three of its members who were martyred while performing their duty in Baghdad.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Authority expressed profound sorrow and pride in a statement, mourning their righteous martyrs who ascended to heaven while performing their sacred duty in the capital city. The martyrs were identified as Mujahid Murtadha Kadhim al-Daraji, Mujahid Muhammad Abdul Rahman al-Mutairi, and Mujahid Waad Hassan al-Ammari.

The statement emphasized that these heroes have written pages of honor and sacrifice with their blood. It affirmed that the Popular Mobilization Forces will continue to serve as the protective shield for Iraq and its people, expressing unwavering commitment to defending the nation’s land, sovereignty, and holy sites. The Authority highlighted that it will persist on the path of martyrdom chosen by its righteous martyrs.

In extending its deepest condolences, the Authority reached out to the families of the martyrs and their comrades. It also offered prayers for divine mercy and admission to Paradise for the martyrs, as well as a speedy recovery for the wounded.
