Baghdad A force from the 16th Brigade of the Popular Mobilization thwarted, on Thursday, a terrorist attempt to target security forces southwest of Kirkuk.
A statement by the Authority stated that this came during a security operation carried out by the force after receiving intelligence information in the village of Tal al-Jul in the sector of responsibility, southwest of Kirkuk, where an explosive device was dismantled, which was intended to target the security forces.
