Baghdad: The Presidency of the Republic has refuted claims regarding the issuance of a presidential decree that would see Faleh al-Fayadh, the head of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF), retired.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the media department of the Presidency declared that the document being circulated, which purportedly details the retirement decree, is both forged and incorrect.
