Doha: President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid affirmed on Tuesday that addressing social disparities worldwide requires international cooperation. Speaking at the Second World Summit for Social Development in Doha, Qatar, Rashid stated, “We aspire to a more secure and peaceful world, and social justice is essential for achieving equal opportunities.”

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Rashid highlighted that Iraq has adopted several strategic plans to achieve social development and has made significant progress in social protection in recent years. He also emphasized the special attention Iraq is giving to climate change.
