Baghdad / NINA /- The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, stressed the need to consolidate and establish security and stability among society.
A presidential statement stated: “The President met today with the delegation of Al-Azza clans.” At the outset of the meeting, the President offered his condolences to the visiting delegation for the crime that befell the people of the village of Al-Jayalah in Diyala Governorate, stressing his complete rejection of criminal behavior, and stressing the need to consolidate security and stability and establish it among the community.
The President urged the importance of self-restraint by all, stressing that the issue will be followed up with officials and relevant parties.
He also listened to an explanation from the audience regarding the situation in their areas of presence in Baghdad and the governorates and the problems facing the population, stressing his support and his endeavor to overcome these obstacles in order to provide security, safety and services to the people across the country.
