The President of the Republic: The relationship between the governments of Baghdad and Erbil and other governorates is good and solid

Baghdad / NINA / – The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, affirmed: The relationship between the federal government and the Kurdistan Regional Government, as well as other provinces, is good and solid.

In a televised interview on the sidelines of his participation in the Non-Aligned Summit in Baku, he stressed the importance of establishing security and stability in the region and conducting dialogue to understand and solve problems and provide solutions to them.

Rashid referred to relations with neighboring countries and other countries, stressing the need for coordination and cooperation in a way that serves common interests.

Regarding Iraq’s participation in the Baku Conference of Non-Aligned Countries, the President explained: Most of the leaders of the countries participated in the Baku Conference of Non-Aligned Countries, as they focused in their discussions on trying to solve problems between countries in terms of politics, economy and health, pointing to the importance of activities, important and large attendance, and the right decisions.

The President of the Republic touched on: the importance of the role of the media in conveying the improvement of the current picture about the situation in Iraq, explaining that most Iraqi cities are much better than some cities in other countries in terms of security, stability, urban, cultural and sports activities.

Rashid pointed out: There is serious and great interest in improving the situation, since the government program is a very intensive program, adding that the Iraqi government from the beginning until today is busy implementing its contents.
