Al-Amara A number of engineers protesting in front of the Maysan Oil Company closed the Oil Products Distribution Company building, one of the formations of the Ministry of Oil, in protest of not being included in the appointment.

One of the engineers stated that this is one of the escalation steps to pressure the government to respond to their demands, waving other escalatory steps in the event of non-response.
