Baghdad The Security Media Cell confirmed that a suicide terrorist’s attempt to target a Husseini processions in Muqdadiyah was thwarted.

It stated in a statement that, according to accurate intelligence, a joint force of the 4th Brigade in the 1st Infantry Division and the Imam al-Baqi Brigade of the PMF of the Ministry of Defense managed to thwart an attempt by a suicide terrorist who was trying to blow himself up on a Husseini processions and military headquarters at Mayah intersection east of Muqdadiya district.

It added that the force was able to besiege this criminal terrorist, which led him to blow himself up without significant losses.
