Najaf The work of the Sixth Conference on Combating Violent Extremism was launched in Najaf, in the presence of a group of officials from the provincial assistants, parliamentarians and representatives of a number of international and local community organizations.

The media office of the first deputy governor concerned with sponsoring the conference indicated that “the work of the conference was launched under the patronage and presence of the head of the National Committee to follow up on the implementation of the strategy to combat extremism at the National Security Advisory, Ali Abdullah, in cooperation with the United Nations Development Program.”
