The Sovereignty Alliance confirms continuing efforts to form a strong government capable of carrying out comprehensive reforms

Baghdad The Sovereignty Alliance held a meeting before the parliament session scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, to elect the President of the Republic, in the presence of its President Khamis al-Khanjar and Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi.

The coalition said in a statement, that it continues to discuss the political scene in the country to come up with points of view to expedite the forming of the new government and end the obstacles to electing the presidents of the republic and ministers.

The meeting affirmed the continuation of efforts to achieve the priorities of the coalition in forming a strong government capable of carrying out comprehensive reforms in all state facilities, guaranteeing the rights of the liberated areas in reconstruction, revealing the disappeared, releasing the innocent, rejecting differences between the political blocs, transcending the sectarian psyche and taking into account the aspirations of citizens to achieve the demands according to the law and the constitution.
