Baghdad: The Speaker of the Arab Parliament, Mohammed bin Ahmed Al-Yamahi, expressed his sincere condolences and deep sympathy to the Republic of Iraq, its leadership, government, and people, for the victims of the tragic fire that broke out in a shopping center in the city of Kut, which resulted in dozens of deaths and injuries.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, in an official statement on Thursday, Al-Yamahi affirmed the Arab Parliament's full solidarity with the Republic of Iraq in this painful circumstance. He expressed his condolences to the families of the victims and prayed to God Almighty to have mercy on them and grant the injured a speedy recovery.
