The Turkish army announces the killing of two members of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party in northern Iraq in an air strike

Istanbul The Turkish Ministry of Defense announced the killing of two members of the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) in northern Iraq, in an air strike.

The Ministry said in a statement issued today, Monday, that the Turkish army monitored 2 members of the terrorist organization in the Hakurk region, and was able to kill them with an air strike carried out by the Turkish Air Force.

The security forces and the Turkish army have been targeting the sites of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) and prosecuting its members inside the country and northern Iraq.

This comes, according to the Turkish Defense statement, in response to terrorist attacks carried out by the separatist organization inside Turkey from time to time, targeting civilians, security personnel and the army.
