The United Nations Commences Humanitarian Operation Planning in Gaza Amid Trump’s Peace Proposal

New york: The United Nations has initiated plans to provide humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip following the introduction of U.S. President Donald Trump’s proposal to end the ongoing conflict.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Deputy Spokesman for the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Farhan Haq, stated at a press conference that, “We must see whether the two parties agree to the agreement, but we are starting to plan and will be in contact with both parties… as well as with the United States and others.” The United Nations has expressed support for the U.S. President’s plan, highlighting the necessity for all parties to comply with its terms.

The development follows Trump’s announcement of his plan aimed at resolving the conflict in the Gaza Strip. The plan includes provisions for the release of detainees held by Hamas, a phased withdrawal of Israeli forces from the area, and the establishment of a new transitional authority in Gaza with international involvement.

Additionally, Trump’s plan proposes the distribution of humanitarian aid in the Gaza Strip through the United Nations and other neutral humanitarian organizations, emphasizing the non-affiliation of these organizations with either party involved in the conflict.
