Diwaniyah: Thirteen people were killed and wounded at a wedding party south of Diwaniyah.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a person opened fire on a group of his relatives during a wedding party in Al-Shanifiyah district, resulting in the deaths of four individuals and injuries to nine others.

The bodies of those who were killed have been transferred to the forensic medicine department, while the injured have been taken to the hospital for treatment. An investigation into the incident has been initiated to uncover the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
