Three Children Die in Mine Explosion in Abu Al-Khaseeb District, West of Basra


Basra: The explosion of a war remnant led to the death of three children in Abu Al-Khaseeb district, west of Basra. A security source stated that the three children were playing near the shrine of the companion Zaid bin Suhan, and the explosion of the war mine led to their death as a result of their serious injuries. They were transferred to the hospital.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the tragic incident highlights the ongoing danger posed by unexploded ordnance in the region. The presence of such remnants of war continues to pose a significant threat to the safety of residents, particularly children who may inadvertently come into contact with these hidden hazards.
