Baghdad: A fire broke out this afternoon inside an apartment in Al-Zahour complex in the Capital, Baghdad. Residents were able to rescue three children who were trapped inside their apartment. Firefighting teams also arrived at the scene to control and extinguish the fire.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the fire was reported to have started in one of the apartments, quickly drawing the attention of the complex's residents. The swift actions of these residents led to the successful rescue of the children before the arrival of the firefighting teams.
Firefighters managed to control and extinguish the blaze, preventing further spread to adjacent apartments. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by local authorities.
