Hilla: Three people injured in a cafe fire in Hilla have died. The Babil Health Department announced the deaths following a fire that broke out in the Al-Iskan area of central Hillah on Thursday evening.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Luay Al-Rassam, the media director of the Babil Health Department, reported that Hilla Hospital received four individuals suffering from severe burns due to the incident at a local coffee shop. Unfortunately, three of these individuals succumbed to their injuries.

The tragic event led to the deceased being transferred to the forensic medicine department. The fire, which erupted in the capital of Babil Governorate, initially resulted in burn injuries to four people.
