Al-amara: The Maysan Governorate Police Command announced today the arrest of three suspects linked to the murder of a citizen in the Sayed Nour area of the governorate. A statement from the Command revealed that a force from the Al-Karama Police Department successfully uncovered the circumstances surrounding the crime after a report was received regarding a body dumped in an uninhabited area.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the task force acted swiftly upon receiving the report and managed to identify the perpetrators and their locations within less than three hours. The suspects were apprehended after securing the necessary judicial approvals, following a complaint submitted by the victim’s family.

The Police Command has confirmed that investigations are ongoing to uncover further details and motives related to the crime.
