Babylon: Security forces arrested an accused of antiquities trafficking and seized 60 ancient coins in Babylon. Brigadier General Adel Al-Husseini, Director of Media for Babylon Police, stated that the arrest took place in a carefully planned ambush in the Alexandria district, north of Babylon, based on precise intelligence information.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the seized coins were found in the possession of the accused, and initial investigations reveal that the coins were acquired through illegal excavation operations.
