Toluca: Toluca topped the Mexican football league after defeating Atlas 5-2 in their eighth-round match, bringing their total to 16 points.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Toluca’s impressive performance was highlighted by goals from Alexis Vega in the 19th minute, Jesus Angulo in the 22nd minute, Federico Vi±as in the 29th minute, Paulinho in the 53rd minute, and Jorge Rodrguez in the 60th minute. Despite Atlas’ efforts, with goals by Florian Monz³n in the 51st minute and Duc in the 77th minute, they remain in eighth place with 13 points.
In other league action, Cruz Azul emerged victorious over Club Am©rica with a 4-3 win, securing their position in third place. Meanwhile, Monterrey and Tigres settled for a goalless draw in their encounter.
