Tourism Authority Advances Rehabilitation of Ishtar Hotel in Baghdad


Baghdad: The Tourism Authority is actively working to rehabilitate and develop the Ishtar Hotel in Baghdad, as part of its broader efforts to enhance hotels and tourist facilities in the area. The initiative is being led by the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Authority has emphasized that the rehabilitation and development efforts are being executed in accordance with international standards in hospitality. This approach ensures the preservation of hotel employees’ rights and aims to restore the Ishtar Hotel as a prominent landmark. The project seeks to reflect the grandeur of Baghdad and represents a new vision for advancing the tourism sector in the region.
