Baghdad: The second day of the eighth Baghdad Dialogue Conference commenced today at the Babylon Rotana Hotel in Baghdad. The event was attended by a number of prominent figures, officials, and representatives from various institutions and organizations.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Tourism Authority participated in the conference, represented by the Director General of the Department of Tourist Facilities, Jabbar Manlon Al-Gharibawi, along with the Director of the Joint Ventures Department and the Director of the Translation Department. Al-Gharibawi emphasized the significance of the Tourism Authority’s involvement in the Baghdad Dialogue Conference, highlighting the importance of institutional presence at national events and the sector’s role in dialogue and perspective exchange.
Al-Gharibawi noted that developing tourism is a shared responsibility, and dialogue and cooperation among institutions are fundamental to achieving progress and improving tourism facilities and services in Iraq. He affirmed that the conference participation offers a valuable opportunity to enhance communication, exchange expertise, and underline the role of tourism companies and facilities in supporting the national economy.
