Basra: A train transporting fuel trucks, heading to Umm Qasr Port, collided with a large truck, injuring the truck driver.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the accident took place at the entrance to Umm Qasr Port and resulted in damage to one of the cargo locomotives. The collision has raised concerns about safety measures at the busy port entrance.

The security source reported that the truck driver was promptly taken to the hospital for medical attention. Meanwhile, the police have initiated an investigation to determine the cause of the accident and to prevent similar incidents in the future.
