Trkiye’s Exports Hit a Record High of $278 Billion in the Last 12 Months

Ankara: Turkish Trade Minister Ömer Polat announced that his country achieved exports of $278 billion for the first time in the last 12 months. Polat stated in a press conference on Friday that exports during the first half of the year reached $136.1 billion, while Turkey's exports for the past 12 months reached $278 billion for the first time. According to National Iraqi News Agency, he explained that by the end of June, total exports of goods and services had exceeded $400 billion for the first time in Turkey's history on an annual basis. He added that June was an "exceptional month" for exports, reaching $24.94 billion, the highest level ever recorded for that month. He noted that exports in June increased by 21.9 percent compared to the same month last year. He confirmed that June exports, which approached $25 billion, represent a record high for the month and the third highest monthly value in Turkish export history, after December 2025, which recorded $26.4 billion, and April 2026, which reached $25.4 billion.
