Washington: US President Donald Trump announced early Tuesday morning a full agreement between Israel and Iran on a comprehensive ceasefire.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Trump revealed the details of the agreement in a tweet, stating that the ceasefire will commence approximately six hours after the announcement once Israel and Iran complete their final ongoing tasks. The ceasefire is set to last for 12 hours, marking the official end of the 12-day conflict between the two nations.
In his tweet, Trump expressed congratulations to both countries for reaching a full and final agreement, emphasizing the significance of the ceasefire in bringing an end to the conflict. The agreement entails that Iran will officially begin its ceasefire, followed by Israel 12 hours later. After the 24-hour period, the end of the 12-day war will be declared and celebrated globally.
