Baghdad Former US President Donald Trump called for stopping military aid to Ukraine and starting peace negotiations in order to end the crisis that has been going on for nearly a year.

Trump said Washington should reduce the flow of weapons to Ukraine to start negotiations with Russia.

He pointed out the need to stop the fighting between Russia and Ukraine immediately and conclude a peace agreement, calling on the Europeans to do more to end the crisis.

Trump stressed that the Ukrainian crisis affects Europe much more than the United States.

Trump had said earlier that it was possible to settle the crisis in Ukraine within 24 hours, with an agreement, and not by sending millions of dollars in aid to Kyiv.
