Washington:U.S. President Donald Trump stated on Sunday that there are still matters in Iran that have not yet been resolved.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, in remarks reported by Fox News—coinciding with Qatar’s mediation of indirect negotiations between the U.S. and Iran aimed at ending the war—Trump said “There are matters in Iran that have not yet been resolved.”

Earlier today, Iranian Defense Minister Mehrdad Akhlaghi vowed a “proportionate, decisive, and impactful” response to any attack targeting his country. He added, “Those who issue threats will not be able to determine the scale, timing, or consequences of an Iranian response.”
