Trump Confirms Iran Can Now Move Forward Toward Peace and Harmony in the Region

Washington: US President Donald Trump expressed his thanks to the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad, on Monday evening, confirming that no Americans or Qataris were killed or wounded as a result of the Iranian bombing of Al Udeid Air Base, while indicating that the time for peace has come.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Trump wrote on his account on the Truth Social platform: “I would like to thank His Highness the Emir of Qatar for all his efforts to achieve peace in the region. Regarding today’s attack on the American base in Qatar, I am pleased to inform you that, in addition to no Americans being killed or wounded, and more importantly, no Qataris were killed or wounded either. Thank you for your attention to this matter!”

The US President also described the Iranian attack on Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, in retaliation for the US strikes targeting nuclear facilities, as weak, tweeting on the same platform: “Iran officially responded to our destruction of their nuclear facilities with a very weak response, which we expected, and we responded very effectively. 14 missiles were fired – 13 were shot down, and one missile failed because it was heading in a non-threatening direction.”

He continued: “I am pleased to report that no Americans were harmed, and no significant damage was caused. Most importantly, they got rid of everything, and we hope there is no more hatred.”

The US President continued: “I want to thank Iran for giving us early notice, which allowed no lives to be lost or injured. Perhaps Iran can now move forward toward peace and harmony in the region, and I would enthusiastically encourage Israel to do the same. Thank you for your attention!”
