Washington: US President Donald Trump announced that 10 more hostages will be released from Gaza soon, without providing further details.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, during a dinner with members of the House of Representatives at the White House, Trump stated, “We’ve got most of the hostages back… We’ll be getting 10 more very soon, and we hope to get that done quickly,” acknowledging the efforts of his special envoy, Steve Witkoff.
Meanwhile, negotiations have been ongoing in Doha since July 6 between Hamas and Israel regarding a US-backed proposal for a 60-day ceasefire.
