Baghdad: US President Donald Trump confirmed: “The talks with Hamas regarding ending the war are successful and progressing rapidly.”

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Trump said in press statements: “Very positive discussions took place over the weekend with Hamas and a number of countries regarding the release of hostages and stopping the war.”

He explained: “The technical teams will meet today in Egypt to discuss and clarify the final details of the agreement on Gaza,” stressing that he is personally following the developments in the file.
