Washington: US President Donald Trump stated yesterday, Friday, that he will take a tough stance on Saturday regarding Gaza, where a fragile ceasefire is in effect between Israel and Hamas. Trump emphasized that Hamas must release “all hostages,” though he did not elaborate on what he meant by “a tough stance.”

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Trump had previously proposed that the United States take control of the Strip and develop it after expelling the Palestinians from it, a plan that was met with Arab and international rejection.
