Seoul: President Donald Trump confirmed that the American strike targeting terrorists in Syria was carried out successfully and precisely, and came in response to the recent killing of three American soldiers. In a speech to his supporters in North Carolina, Trump said, "We hit every target with absolute precision."

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) reported that it launched more than 100 precision bombs and missiles during these intensive strikes targeting ISIS positions in Syria, in response to the attack that targeted American forces near Palmyra.

US Secretary of Defense Pete Higseth also announced the launch of an operation called "Hawkeye Strike" in Syria, aimed at eliminating ISIS fighters in response to the Palmyra attack.
