According to Iraqi News Agency, Trump spoke at a joint press conference with Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi at the White House, expressing his honor to host the Prime Minister. Trump remarked that al-Zaidi's influence is expected to extend beyond Iraq, potentially making him a leader in the Middle East. He emphasized the strength of the partnership between the two nations and lauded al-Zaidi's leadership.
Trump further highlighted Iraq's significant oil reserves and resources, indicating that the US anticipates finalizing numerous major deals and oil agreements with Iraq. He asserted that the United States would not require its troops or any military presence in Iraq going forward.
