Washington: US President Donald Trump announced that Israel has agreed to the necessary conditions for a 60-day ceasefire in Gaza. Trump stated in a press release that the aim of the truce is to engage with all involved parties to bring about an end to the ongoing conflict.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, President Trump expressed hope that Hamas would also agree to the ceasefire proposal.
