Washington: US President Donald Trump confirmed on Monday that his country will remove all barriers in Gaza and work to ensure food access for children. Trump said in a press conference with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, “The people of Gaza see food from miles away and cannot reach it,” noting that he “will work to establish food centers in the Gaza Strip, and we will provide money, and there are countries that will join us.”

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Trump emphasized the goal of making food readily accessible, stating, “We hope that food will reach those in need in the Gaza Strip,” and assured that “food distribution centers in Gaza will be open to the population without restrictions.” He also mentioned setting a deadline of 10 to 12 days for Russia to end the war and achieve a ceasefire.

For his part, the British Prime Minister highlighted the urgency of the situation, remarking that “the images of starving children in the Gaza Strip are horrific.” He reiterated the importance of international cooperation, stating, “We need to mobilize other countries to reach a ceasefire in Gaza.”
