Washington: At the conclusion of the Independence Day celebration at the White House on Friday, US President Donald Trump signed the massive budget bill passed by Congress into law.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Trump described the legislation as a “good bill” during the signing ceremony. He was joined by dozens of Republican representatives who expressed their support for the “big, beautiful bill.”

The bill’s passage followed a narrow approval in the House of Representatives, with a vote tally of 218 to 214. The Senate ratified the bill, with the Vice President casting the decisive vote.
