Washington:US President Donald Trump stated on Monday that Iran is expressing a desire to reach an agreement, and the possibility of such a deal is being considered.

According to Iraqi News Agency, Trump mentioned that there is no immediate need for a regime change in Iran to prevent the nation from acquiring a nuclear weapon. He emphasized the ongoing challenge of identifying appropriate negotiation counterparts within Iran’s leadership.

Trump highlighted that although Iran is open to negotiations, there remains a possibility that military intervention might become necessary in the future. He also pointed out that Iran is currently facing significant economic difficulties, which have affected its ability to fund its military forces.
