Tehran:The Deputy Commander for Political Affairs of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard has stated that US President Donald Trump is experiencing growing domestic pressure due to the ongoing conflict with Iran. He highlighted the costs of the “no-war, no-peace” scenario, which he believes are affecting more than just the Iranian population.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Iranian official was quoted by Iran’s Tasnim News Agency, describing the US as the “enemy” and noting the significant expenses related to a naval blockade. He pointed out that disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz have put stress on financial and energy markets, with the impacts now evident in the American economy.
The Deputy Commander further noted that Trump is under more pressure than ever from the domestic fallout of the conflict. He reinforced Iran’s preparedness to counter any new military actions, expressing confidence that Iran’s responses would be firm and powerful.
