Tsunami Warning Issued After 6.3 Magnitude Earthquake in Kamchatka


Kamchatka: Authorities in the Russian region of Kamchatka declared a tsunami warning following a powerful earthquake measuring 6.3 on the Richter scale.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the region’s Governor, Vladimir Sludov, informed the public about the tsunami threat via his Telegram channel. He emphasized the importance of exercising extreme caution, particularly when visiting areas like Khalkatr Beach, which are prone to tsunami waves.

Governor Sludov urged residents to remain calm and adhere strictly to information provided by official sources to ensure their safety.
