Rome: Turkey and Italy signed 11 cooperation agreements today in a range of sectors, including trade, industrial investment, and defense industries. This development marks a significant step in strengthening bilateral ties between the two nations.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the agreements were finalized at the conclusion of the fourth government summit between Turkey and Italy, held in Rome. The summit was chaired by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, highlighting the commitment of both countries to enhance collaboration in multiple domains.

The agreements cover a variety of fields, extending beyond trade and industrial investments to include space, culture, sports, social services, archives, transportation, and defense industries. The comprehensive nature of these agreements underscores the broad scope of cooperation envisaged by the two countries.
