Hadramawt: Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced the extradition of 40 individuals convicted of various crimes from abroad, half of whom were on Interpol’s Red Notice list. Yerlikaya stated in a post on his Turkish social media account on Friday that the wanted individuals were apprehended in Georgia, Germany, Bulgaria, the United States, Croatia, Switzerland, Montenegro, Russia, and Greece.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Yerlikaya added that the wanted individuals face charges of premeditated murder, membership in terrorist organizations, theft, trespassing, promoting prostitution, robbery, drug trafficking, forgery of official documents, and child sexual abuse. Yerlikaya thanked the Turkish police and all other security agencies that contributed to the extradition of the wanted criminals.
