Turkey Announces Two New Drones Will Join Soon For Its Military Purposes

Turkey announced that it is about to launch two new drones that will soon join its drones, which are used for combat military purposes.

Director of the "Assen" company for the manufacture of drones, which manufactured the two drones, said: The company is working on testing the "Kokkhun" drone, which is among the small tactical drones, and that it is in the process of testing the ability of the drone to fly with electric motors only, and that the process of testing its ability to fly with internal combustion engine will start at a later stage.

He added that the first drone, "Kokkhon", is classified as a hybrid that has the ability to take off and land vertically and with fixed wings, and that there is an increasing demand for its manufacture thanks to the power of its electric motors and the low weight of its engines.

He indicated that the new drone, whose manufacturing project began in 2019, can carry 18 kilograms and can stay in the air for 16 hours, and that its duties include military reconnaissance, surveillance and intelligence, and it is from the category of small tactical drones.

As for the second drone, it is small in size, equipped with a fixed-wing electric motor, and can be launched from vehicles. The company has conducted eight flight tests on it, and its capabilities are equivalent to the capabilities of the famous American-made "Puma" drone./ End
