Turkey Welcomes Ceasefire Between Iran and Israel


Ankara: The Turkish Foreign Ministry welcomed the ceasefire agreement between Iran and Israel, calling on both parties to “fully adhere” to it. The ministry released a statement emphasizing the importance of adhering to the ceasefire, especially during the upcoming critical period.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the statement highlighted Turkey’s concern regarding reports of ceasefire violations and underscored the necessity for both sides to respect the terms of the agreement. The ministry stressed that the Middle East is in dire need of peace and stability, urging decisive steps toward a comprehensive and lasting solution. It emphasized the importance of keeping channels of dialogue and diplomacy open.



The Turkish Foreign Ministry further explained that the ongoing developments have once again highlighted the urgency of resolving the Palestinian issue, which is central to many crises in the Middle East. The ministry reiterated Turkey’s readiness to support and constructively contribute to all efforts aimed at ensuring peace in the region.
