Turkish Aircraft Strike Sites on Outskirts of Dohuk Governorate.

Dohuk: Kurdish sources announced that Turkish aircraft targeted sites in a number of villages on the outskirts of Dohuk Governorate in northern Iraq this morning, Friday, without specifying the extent of the losses.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, areas in the Kurdistan Region, northern Iraq, are constantly exposed to Turkish air and artillery bombardment. The Turkish authorities assert that they are targeting elements and sites of the banned Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), which has been a long-standing point of contention between Turkey and Kurdish groups in the region.

The ongoing military actions have raised concerns about the impact on civilian populations and the stability of the region, as these strikes contribute to the ongoing tensions between Turkey and Kurdish factions.
