Baghdad: A Turkish cargo ship, MV Gllk, was attacked by a drone off the coast of the Russian port of Novorossiysk. The incident occurred on Friday, targeting the crew quarters of the ship. Fortunately, none of the crew members were injured in the attack.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the maritime information website Haberdenizde.com reported that the ship sustained some damage. The vessel will be taken to a shipyard for damage assessment, necessary repairs, and maintenance.

Further statements from the ship traffic regulator, Gemi Trafik, on the X platform, indicated that the Ukrainian side was responsible for the attack on the Turkish ship.
