Istanbul Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar discussed with Iraqi Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein cooperation in combating terrorism.

The Turkish Anatolia News Agency reported that Akar met with the Iraqi Minister after a speech he delivered at the Defense Policies and Innovation Forum on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference, which started on Friday and will last for 3 days, in southern Germany, with wide international participation.

The Agency indicated that the meeting dealt with issues of cooperation between the two countries in combating terrorism.
