Istanbul The Turkish Ministry of Defense announced today, Friday, the killing of a Turkish officer in an armed clash at the Syrian border.

The Turkish Defense stated in a statement that an armed group tried to cross the border from Syria towards Turkish territory, and after a gunfight, the Turkish officer was wounded and taken to a hospital in Kilis, but he died after arriving at the hospital from his wounds.
