Miami: Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan is scheduled to participate in a meeting on the Gaza Strip to be held in the United States today, Friday. The Turkish Foreign Ministry stated in a press release that Fidan will partake in the meeting concerning Gaza, which will take place in Miami, Florida.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the statement indicated that the meeting will be attended by officials from the United States, Egypt, and Qatar. Meetings are also planned on the sidelines to discuss other regional issues.

Last Wednesday, Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman announced that mediators would hold a meeting this coming Friday to develop a plan for moving to the second phase of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip. He mentioned that preparations are underway with the American side for a meeting of all mediators on Friday to advance the plan, although he did not specify the location of the meeting. It is worth noting that the US president had previously announced on the 4th of this month that the second phase of the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas would commence very soon, without providing a specific date.
