Sharm el-sheikh: The Turkish Presidency announced that President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will participate in the Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit tomorrow, Monday, at the invitation of his Egyptian counterpart, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, and his American counterpart, Donald Trump.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Burhaneddin Duran, head of the Turkish Presidency's Communications Department, stated: "In response to the invitation of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi and US President Donald Trump, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will visit Sharm el-Sheikh on October 13, 2025, to participate in the Sharm el-Sheikh Peace Summit, which will be held regarding the ceasefire agreement reached in Gaza."

The statement indicates that President Erdogan is expected to deliver a speech at the summit and hold consultations with the leaders of the participating countries.

An international summit will begin tomorrow, Monday, at the conference center in the Egyptian resort city of Sharm el-Sheikh, with the broad participation of world leaders, headed by el-Sisi and Trump.

According to official and media information in Egypt, the summit aims to put the final touches on the signing of a ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip between Hamas and Israel. Preparations for the Sharm el-Sheikh Peace Summit continue today, Sunday, on the security and logistical levels.
